Very cool wicker and rattan motorcycle by Tom Dixon for a window display for Habitat in the UK from the 1980’s. This is an unusual example of this piece as this one was painted, most are natural in color.
Incredibly detailed and beautifully crafted.
It is pictured in our gallery next to a Verner Panton Cone Chair for scale, which available separately for sale on this site.
The motorcycle is 6 feet long.
It is in generally good condition with some paint rubbed off in spots, particularly on the wheels. Some minor breaks and loose ends to the wicker.
