A spectacular and unusual Likely Italian lamp, with three cylinders wrapped in a protective edge cover. The cover slips a little but just slips back on. The base had to be re-chromed and although they did a good job, still shows some signs of roughness. we have never seen a design like this, although some of Mario Bellinis and Reggiani designs come to mind. There is a rare Stilnovo lamp shaped like this but it has one cylinder. The lighting in this estate this was purchased from contained some of the best of the period, including a rare ‘Quasar’ Light Sculpture by Francesco Bocola for Stilnovo and Pierre Cardin and another rare glass Stilnovo table lamp. We are listing some other lamps out of this great estate. It has been totally re-wired and converted for use in the USA. It appears to have been of Italian manufacture according to our technician. The chrome on the tubes have imperfections and pitting, as does the white paint interior the worst of which is pictured. A real statement piece of lighting.
