A nice pair of Martin Eisler inspired rib chairs by Scala Luxury from the late 1990’s. white lacquered wood with steel frames and lacquered bentwood supports. The cushions are newly made leather with snap holders. One cushion is slightly longer than the others and the spacing of the nine ribs on each is slightly different they appear to been repainted at some point as they have some paint on the metal. The original chairs had eight ribs these have nine. The lacquer on each is high gloss, and there are losses to the lacquer and a small seam split, pictured. There is a spot on the top rib of one chairs that has some in painting . There is some paint on the metal as well. A magnet does not stick so these are likely stainless steel.
