A wonderful ceramic, pottery cat designed by Kitty Rix and executed by the Wiener Werkstatte in the late 1920’s. It was produced as a lamp and has an old leviton fixture and some newer wiring. In good original condition with no chips that I have seen. There is some edge roughness and some minor glaze imperfections. Stamped on the base with the Wiener Werkstatte logo, impressed KR and 269 made in Austria. This lamp is pictured in the archives of the Austrian Museum of Applied Arts as item WWF 110-19-4.
