Wonderfully evocative painting by the Native American Artist Don Bailey. It is Titled “Waiting for a Crow Bullet” and dated 1990. Don Bailey is a Hupa tribal member, and was raised on the Hoopa Valley Reservation in California and taught art at the Chemawa Indian School, the oldest continually operating federal boarding school in America. The painting is 36×48 inches and in it’s original frame. It is also signed and dated lower right. The painting is in good condition, minor imperfections, while the frame has a small separation lower right corner, and some minor marks.
