Christian Daninos Lucite and Steel Sphere Bubble Bulle Chair

A fabulous sphere or bubble chair by Christian Daninos for Laroche of France. The chair was produced in the late 1960’s. We’ve had the lucite completely polished. The lucite is now clear and clean. There are still a few marks to the rim from inserting the it into the frame and handling. The steel has not been touched and allowed to patina nicely. The cushion has been re-upholstered in a lovely luxurious beige Nubuck suede. The chair is a poster child for the pop art movement of the 1960’s.
We’ve been fortunate to have sold this chair before and it is an iconic piece that will fit beautifully into any modern home.
