Bruce Houston Miniature Folk Art Man Chained by Parrot

A wonderful whimsical work of art we have had for a number of years. We acquired a number of the artist’s works not long after the artist’s death in 2016. This work is not signed. It is typical of his miniatures. This one depict a man in chains while a green parrot sits on a perch and watches. It is housed in a fitted lucite shadow box. Please look at the detail it is wonderful.
The lucite shadow box and base has some surface scratches and the seams have some craquelure. There appears to be one figure missing, as only the feet are planted. Please see the detailed photos.
