A Most Unusual Italian Lamp

A most unusual Italian lamp made out parts aluminum and parts metal which has been enameled. It bears a “made in Italy” metal tag. It also has a leviton dimmer switch which appears to be added. We have had this lamp for quite a few months trying to figure out who designed it but can not ascertain the creator.
