A wonderful Oil on Linen by the noted artist Marilyn Ostrich. It is a vivid painting that can only make you smile, children playing at the beach. It still bears a sticker with her name on it and Sand Castles. It is signed lower right as well. The liner is spotted in places. Stretcher size is 24×30 inches, frame size is given below.
A brief bio of Marilyn Ostrich who passed away in 2001 follows;
Marilyn Ostrich studied under and be-friend Henry Gasser in NJ. She attended Mr. Gasser’s art classes, and was awarded and made a member of the American Pastel Society. This artist has been exhibited in numerous galleries throughout the area and is in the collection’s of many large major New Jersey corporations. Her last exhibit prior to her death was at Schering Plough Gallery in Kennelworth, NJ.
