Detailed caned & bronze inlaid 19th century Anglo-African throne

An unusual Throne definitely from Africa but probably Colonial and most likely Anglo-African. It was probably made for a governor or Colonial Administrator. It features brass appliques and some uniquely decorated fabric sides. It also probably had a front decorative piece which is long gone. The side pocket is missing a cover as detailed in the photos. The arms are covered in some sort of leather. The caning has most likely been redone at some point but still has quite a bit of age. Made of Mahogany and and quite nice detailed carving. A very unique and impressive throne.
