A remarkably intact pair of early 19th century, possibly earlier, wood carved monks, largely intact, with painted eyes. Some minor traces of gilt. These are incredibly well detailed and appear toe have red marks on the base, probably a signature. Please look at the detailed photos.
The dimensions for the smaller one are as follows: 22 inches tall, 20 inches wide and 17 inches deep. Dimensions are given below for the larger one.
