A nice looking intricately decorated chest on stand, probably Anglo-Indian, although it may from some other close region. It has wonderfully detailed cast brass decorations, including a butterfly, turtle and tiger among other cvharacters and symbolic figures. These table are out of an estate filled with Dunbar furniture, all of it in great original condition. These nesting tables, designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar both have the big d gold tags. Nice form and design. A nice air of heavy chromed steel tables from the Pace Collection most likely dating to the 1970′s. The glass is new and has been replaced with 3/8 thick tempered glass bullet polished around the edges. We purchased this piece in Hungary from a reputable source that’s why we are attributing it to Hungary. It has a very French feel to it though. A nice English mid 19th century table base with a later Victorian slate painted top. Overall a very nice combination.
