We found this table with a parchment top which was in terrible condition and had it re-done with a new thin almost translucent calfskin top. It turned out beautiful. A nice 1950′s table that has been faux painted and then had it’s top embellished with miro like painting. I would guess that the the table was re-done sometime in the 1980′s although it could be earlier. A nice looking intricately decorated chest on stand, probably Anglo-Indian, although it may from some other close region. It has wonderfully detailed cast brass decorations, including a butterfly, turtle and tiger among other cvharacters and symbolic figures. This table came from a house full of Wormley for Dunbar furniture and in fact it was placed in front of a labeled Dunbar sofa and chair. A Paul Evan’s style “goop” style coffee table. It is not signed but done in a resin applied to wood base. There is also some copper or brass pieces added in. An unusual and beautiful custom ordered table from 1984. It bears a monogram from the maker and the date 84. A unique custom designed chromed steel table purchased from a wonderful estate. The onyx is beautifully grained but has at some time been re-glued and stabilized with heavy gauge steel straps that are lining the bottom as support against the grain.
