A stunning large slab of California redwood from the 1970;s that has a newer artisan made iron base. You see these tables quite a bit with heavy epoxy resin on them and root bases. These wonderful designed nesting tables sat next to the sofa we have posted in estate. These do not have the Saporiti label but were confirmed as such by the owners. We found this table with a parchment top which was in terrible condition and had it re-done with a new thin almost translucent calfskin top. It turned out beautiful. A nice 1950′s table that has been faux painted and then had it’s top embellished with miro like painting. I would guess that the the table was re-done sometime in the 1980′s although it could be earlier. This table came from a house full of Wormley for Dunbar furniture and in fact it was placed in front of a labeled Dunbar sofa and chair. A Paul Evan’s style “goop” style coffee table. It is not signed but done in a resin applied to wood base. There is also some copper or brass pieces added in. An unusual and beautiful custom ordered table from 1984. It bears a monogram from the maker and the date 84.
